He was predeceased by: his parents, William Frederick Daniel Burkhardt and Henrietta Schade Burkhardt. He is survived by: his wife Susan; his sons, Daniel and Robert; his daughter-in-law Suzi; his granddaughters, Alexandra and Katherine; and his sister Helen Dobbs.
