He is survived by: his close friend Joanna Swisher; his children, George Gyles IV (Virginia) and Sally Hall (Manteca); his stepchildren, Stacy Swisher (Stockton), Chuck Swisher (Pine Grove) and Tim Swisher (Tennessee); and his sister Mary Mc Cafferty. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
