He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Miller and Mary Miller; his wife Dorothy Miller; and his siblings, Kenneth Miller, Marion Miller, Elvin Miller, Doris Schaal and Ardella Williams.

He is survived by: his children, Larry Miller of Lodi, Terry Miller (Tina) of Lake Almanor and Beverly Pontius (Mike) of Lodi.
