He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry F. Charlie and Erna Irene Mettler Charlie; his siblings, Raymond, Irvine, Hubert, Vernon, Rich, Stanley, Lloyd, Laura and Viola; and his son-in-law Rodney Mastel.
He is survived by: his spouse Joice Hulse; his sister Jeannie Culbertson; his children, Deborah Scott and Brian Mettler; his children-in-law, George Scott and Jackie Dent; his grandchildren, Brianna Mastel and Colin Mettler; his great grandchild Aiden Nelson; and his close friend Adrianna Acosta.
