He was predeceased by: his parents, Gust Schmiedt and Dorothy Schmiedt; his grandfather JJ Schmiedt; his brother Ross Schmiedt; and his brother-in-law Mike Hodge.
He is survived by: his wife Danna; his children, Galen (Kimberly) and Sandra Flowers (John); his stepdaughters, Michelle Cline and Renee Fowler (Greg); his grandchildren, Tyler, Lauren Flowers, Trevor, Jenna Schmiedt, Jeremy (Caroline), Hannah, Joy Cline, Stephanie Kelly (John) and Brother Leland (Bernice); and his sister Kathleen Hodge. He is also survived by great grandchildren, nephews and nieces and a large extended family.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Lodi Funeral Home (725 S Fairmont Ave, Lodi, CA 95240). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Lodi Memorial Cemetery (5750 E Pine St, Lodi, CA 95240). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Grace Point Baptist Church (801 S Lower Sacramento Rd, Lodi, CA 95240).
