He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl E. Burlington and Jennie A. Burlington; and his brothers, Earl E. Jr. and Ralph A. Burlington. He is survived by: his wife Norma J. Burlington; his children, Thomas (Julia Burlington), Jan (Mark Chandler) and David (Barbara Burlington); his grandchildren, Anne Nakagawa, Beth Calder, David Chandler, Laura Brown and Grace Burlington; and his great grandchildren, Mikael Tiku, Taylor Calder and Johnny Calder.

Donations can be made to the Lodi Branch of Hospice of San Joaquin County, Hutchins Street Square Foundation, or the charity of your choice.
