He is survived by: his wife Diana Alves (Mellick); his daughters, Stephanie Alves Kirk (Chris), Cindy Alves, Lori Alves, Kelly Green, Tricia Martinus (Eric), Stacy Smith (Jesse) and Jennifer Acosta; his grandchildren, Brandon Ortiz (Jessica), Dustin Ortiz, Shyanne Fultz Rasmussen (Cody), Sierra Stamps (Jared), Summer Green (Jeremiah Ramirez), Brynn Smith, Tatum Smith, Jessilyn Smith, Jonah Martinus and Jan Martinus; his great grandchildren, Brandon Ortiz, Gabe Ortiz, Joel Ortiz, Eli Ortiz, Harper Stamps, Cole Stamps, Ryen Ramirez and Crue Ramirez; and his siblings, John Alves (Elvira) and Kathleen Rodriguez. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
