Regina Lynn (Bishop) Lewis Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce on Thursday, December 22, 2022, Regina Lynn Lewis a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister passed away at the age of 52. She was at her home surrounded by love and laughter during her final moments.

Regina was born on March 1, 1970, in Phoenix, Arizona to James and Maureen Bishop. She moved to Stockton, California at the age of 9
where she lived most of her life. Regina was a business owner and served her community in many ways through the years. She will be remembered for her kindness, patience, selflessness, service to her community, family, and friends, and especially her love for Jesus.
Regina is survived by her husband Marvin Lewis of Lockeford, CA; her children; Amber Bishop of Carmichael, CA; Jaymie (Levi) Goseyun of Valley Springs, CA; Joseph Schmelzle of Stockton, CA; Andru Lewis of Lodi, CA; and her bonus daughters Morgan Lewis, Sharon Outlaw, and Sabrina Haney all of Stockton, CA. 17 grandchildren; Avril Giussi of Stockton, CA; Kanyon Mathews of Fort Collins, CO; Kaylynn Mathews of Carmichael, CA; Dustin Lisk, Brooklyn Goseyun, Abigail Goseyun and Chloe Goseyun all of Valley Springs, CA; Jason Rubiolo and Raelynn Lewis both of Lodi, CA; Nolan Schmelzle and Ariana Long both of Stockton, CA; Victor Sandoval of Stockton, CA; Holly Outlaw, Daisy Outlaw and Gunner Outlaw all of Stockton, CA; Jason Cebrian and Preston Cebrian both of Rancho Cordova, CA; 4 brothers; Richard Bishop of Citrus Heights, CA; Bill Bishop of Phoenix, AZ: Jeff Moser of Buckeye, AZ; and Scotty Fanning of Stockton, CA. 3 sisters; Mindy Bishop of Stockton, CA; Theresa Stewart of Acampo, CA; and Seana Chaffin of Tahlequah, OK; Her step-mother Mary Bishop of Stockton, CA; and her beloved dogs Stormy, Roxy, Molly, and Jayda.

Regina is proceeded in death by her parents James Bishop Sr. and Maureen Tramontin; her adopted father John Taylor; her father-in-law Marvin Lewis Sr.; her sisters Mary Bishop and Dorothy Foxworth; and her nephew Michael Phillips.

Regina’s memorial services will be held at 12:30 pm on March 4, 2023, at The Fellowship Church Community located at 1981 Cherokee Road in Stockton, CA. All are welcome to gather for a celebration at her daughters' house in Valley Springs, CA following her service.
