“Reed lived a few blocks from me in Burlingame, and we went to Pershing School, McKinley School, and Burlingame High School together. Hearing of his passing made me remember how warm and kind he was. Our class was unique. We were close all through school and after. It was wonderful to see him at our last reunion and have the chance to hear about his life. He was so proud of his family. His passing will be a great loss to them and to us, his old friends. Love to you all. Jain Fairfax”
