With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Niel Kay Madsen of Livermore, California, born in Provo, Utah, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 4, 2024 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by: his parents, Farrell Madsen and Margaret Madsen; his brothers, Dean and Kent Madsen; and his sister-in-law Susan Madsen.
He is survived by: his wife Florence Cooley; his children, Scott Madsen (Alyson), Laura Belnap (Dan), Aly Morrison (Jeff), Amy Herrmann (Sean) and Leslie Mueller (Pieter); his siblings, Marilyn Hutchings (David) and Dale Madsen (JoAnne); and his sister-in-law Ella Madsen. He is also survived by grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren.
