He was predeceased by: his parents, George Troen and Betty Troen; and his niece Megan Troen. He is survived by: his wife Linda Troen; his children, Kenneth Troen of Livermore and Kathleen Engel of San Diego; his son-in-law Duncan Engel; his grandchildren, Sierra Metcalf-Rotolo, Breanna Troen of Antioch, Duncan and Lilianna Engel of San Diego; his great grandchild Kinsley McAllister; and his sisters, Barbara Troen of Tracy and Patricia Freitas of Castro Valley.
A celebration of his life will be scheduled at a later date after Covid restrictions are lifted.
