It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Maffei (Livermore, California), who passed away on May 16, 2018, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughters, Eve Jean and Toni Jean; his brothers, Paul, Huey and Joseph; his parents, William Maffei and Antoinette Maffei; and his stepmother Shirley Maffei.
He is survived by: his wife Madeleine; his children, Joseph (Holly) and Christine Marcoida; his stepsons, David Swartz and Tom Swartz (Erin); his grandchildren, John Marcoida (Eva), Adam Swartz, Jessica Zielinski (Tommy) and Samantha Maffei; his great grandchildren, Liliana, Marley, Jacob, Lauren and Morgan; and his siblings, Ann Krause, Anthony Maffei (Lynn) and Billy Maffei. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
