He was predeceased by: his mother Alexandria; and his sister Silvia. He is survived by: his son John James Obiols III; his father John Obiols Sr.; his siblings, James (Irma), David (Dorothy), Michael (Yolanda), Pamela (Joe) and Geneva (Ruben); and his friend Doreen (Sandra). He is also survived by his nephew and nieces, as well as their extended families.
