He is survived by: his wife Gay Chavarria; his brothers, John and Ray Chavarria; his children, Philip Chavarria Jr, Denise Chambers, Theresa Pollard and George Chambers; his daughter-in-law Tiffany Chavarria; his grandchildren, Chelsie Slate, Ashely, Avery Peterson, Isaiah, Ian and Isaac Chavarria; and his great grandchildren, Bentley, Jagger and Vada Lynn Slate.
