“I am so sorry to hear of Brian's passing. Brian saved my life almost 38 years ago. I was a young, troubled addict. One night in 1983, I found myself at Brian's house in a bad way. He spent hours talking me down, convinced me to pull it together and sent me home. Brian continued to support me as I emerged from my addictions, always the voice of reason. We lost touch. About 20 years ago, I was able to thank him. We lost touch again. I will forever love and appreciate my Mr Sadie Hawkins, RIP. -SO”
