She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joseph Kofender and Minnie Kofender; her husband Dr. Richard Pretzlaff (Dick); her children, Dr. Ronda Diegel (Michael), Dr. Robert Pretzlaff (Diana) and Renee Asher (Dale); her grandchildren, Evan Pretzlaff, Sophie Jorgensen and Max Jorgensen; and her brother Dr. Marvin Kofender (Jane).
Despite her diagnosis and the looming threat of COVID, Shirley continued to live her life to the fullest.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to any organization that works to fight pancreatic cancer.
