He was predeceased by: his parents, Venancio Velazquez and Antonia Huerta; his siblings, Guadalupe, Angel, Jose and Maria; and his son-in-law Refugio Segura.
He is survived by: his wife Celia Velazquez; his children, Alfredo Velazquez (Bertha Gabriela Velazquez), Silvia Segura, Hector Velazquez, Cesar Velazquez (Rosa Velazquez), Fabiola Garcia (Roberto Garcia), Gustavo Velazquez (Natividad Velazquez), Saul Velazquez (Amalia Velazquez), Lorena De Souza (Paulo De Souza), Efrain Velazquez and Miriam Mendoza (Hector Alfonso Mendoza); and his sisters, Bertha, Celia, Narcisa and Teresa. He is also survived by 23 nephews, multiple family members and friends.
