She was predeceased by: her parents, Iran Earl Douglas and Margaret Mary Douglas; her niece Auriel Monet Sumner; her aunts and uncles, Helen Crawford, Juanita Butler, Jesse Robinson, JD Douglas, Edward Douglas and Frank Robinson; and her sisters, Yulonda Dobbins and Karen Hollins.

She is survived by: her husband Dedrick Grant; her daughter Malika Hollins (Tyrese); her grandchildren, Jahzae Hollins and Khyell Hill; her great grandchild E'Laijah Bryers; her siblings, Stephanie Douglas, Monica Alexander (Marquis) and Reginald Douglas; her nieces and nephews, Alexis Armitage, Aurianna Hawk, Asha Douglas, Iran Mobley and Mekhi Alexander; her great-niece Maliyah Hawk Stallcup; her great-nephew Phillip Hawk Jones; her daughter Porsche Wingate; her godchildren, Brandon Duncan, Reginald Dobbins and Joicess Smith; her pet Koby; her aunts, Alma Spears, Catherine Butler and AnnieRuth Robinson; her uncle George Robinson; her brother Harris; and her aunt Ursula. She is also survived by sister inlaws along with a host of cousins, extended family, and friends.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Greater Life Baptist Church (2770 Glebe Rd, Lemon Grove, CA 91945).
