He was predeceased by: his sister Ofelia; his wife Viola; and his son Daniel. He is survived by: his siblings, Eulalia, Robert, Jesus and Catalina Garcia; his children, Richard (Linda) and Patricia (Ron); his daughter-in-law Pamela Hughes; his grandchildren, Daniel, Marcus, Kimberly, Andrea, Aaron, Lance, Ashleigh, Tyler, Alyssa and Alanna; and his close friend Angela Lieras. He is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren.
