She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Anantacio Ruiz and Refugio Ruiz; her husband John Espinosa; her children, Diane Manzo, Johnny Espinosa Jr., Richard Espinosa of El Sobrante and Alfred Espinosa of Merced; her siblings, Anastacio Ruiz of Atwater and Mercy Avina of Merced; and her pet Tanner. She was also cherished by 8 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild.
