With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James William Phillips of Lawndale, California, born in Burkburnett, Texas, who passed away on January 8, 2023 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Phillips and Ora Phillips (McCartney); his sisters, Phyllis Miller and Ruby Lackey; and his grandsons, David Marquez and Chance Sandusky.
He is survived by: his wife Elnora Cook; and his children, Christy Molnar of Sebastopol, CA, Leslie Sandusky (Curtis) of Edna, KS and Marcella Puente of Lancaster, CA. He is also survived by four grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; two nephews and one niece.
