He is survived by: his former wife Norma Francia Farrales; his children, Rupert (Shirley Gonzales), Carleen (Julie Downing) and Carl Jr.; his wife Josephine Susan Aquino Gonzales; his daughter Dana (Lamar Saffold); his grandchildren, Cassandra Smith (Vince), Lamar Jr. Saffold (Andi), Matthew and Cristina Gonzales; his great grandchildren, Malaya Smith and Wesley Saffold; his siblings, Juanito Fajardo (Celicitas), Bienvenido Fajardo (Juliana), Esther Garcia (Luis) and Alfredo Gonzales (Teresita); his sister-in-law Ernesta Alcantara (Violeta Féria); and his brother Policarpo Ferrer.
