He was predeceased by: his son Brooks J. Sampson. He is survived by: his wife Jennifer; his daughter Amy Sampson of Vancouver, WA; his father Richard Knutsen, Sr. (Rosalie) of Washougal, WA; and his brother Richard Knutsen, Jr. (Kathy) of Vancouver, WA. He is also survived by three grandchildren; several half and step siblings; and many nieces and nephews.
