He was predeceased by: his parents, Nazaree Sr. Brumfield and Isabell Brumfield (Dillon); and his siblings, Allie T Brent, Hazel McGee, Shelton, Ezell, James W, Napoleon and Primik Brumfield.

He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Terrance, Lawana and Latoya Byrd; his wife Leeora Brumfield (Byrd) of Lancaster; his grandchildren, Dana Jr. (April), Deandre, Krystal Hendley (Marquise), Tylee Johnson, Molana and Lorana Garcia; and his great grandchildren, Davion of Dana, III, Damioni, Aniayah Lane, Kasey and Zion Hendley.
