He was predeceased by: his parents, Vivian Vierson (Merle) and Robert Dougherty; his sister Marilyn (Jim Wolle); his niece Jolynn Oskey; and his son-in-law Wade Young.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Daugherty; his children, Krista Young, Kevin Daugherty (Elizabeth) and Shaun Daugherty (Beth); his grandchildren, Kalen (Isaac), Ashley (Chris), Kevin, Jordyn, Jonas, Micah, Olivia, Silas, Zachary and Amos; his great grandchild Leo; and his nephew Mike Goad. He is also survived by four great nieces.
In lieu of flowers, his family requests that donations be made to Grace Lutheran School Scholarship Fund (856 W Newgrove St, Lancaster, CA 93534).
