He was predeceased by: his parents, Katherine Hendricks and Samuel Hendricks; and his siblings, Pete, Billy Hendricks, Betty Mosley, Lillian Carter and Katherine Harris.

He is survived by: his wife Ruth Hendricks; his sisters, Charlene Hairston, Delores Hooks and Charlsa Melvin (David, Sr.); his daughter-in-law Barbara Hendricks; his stepchildren, Kent, India, Kena and Mark Sr.; and his grandchildren, Jasmyn, Aja, Clyde Jr., Brandon, Adam, Courtney, Mark Jr., Heiress and Hakeem.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to your charity of choice.
