With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melinda Hunter (Lancaster, California), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on September 22, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emerson Meyer and Margaret Baugh; her sister Celia McQuown; and her nephew Robert McQuown. She is survived by: her former husband John Corey Hunter; her son John Emerson Hunter (Leticia Hunter); and her nephew Daniel McQuown.
Preferred donations are to Lancaster United Methodist Church or Saint Jude Children's Hospital.
