He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lawrence "Red" Carter and Henrietta Charlene Hood; his wife Edna Decker; his great grandchildren, Peyton, Ava, Charlotte, Brady, Madisyn and Mackenzie; his sister-in-law Brenda Carter; his granddaughter Raven Knight; his daughters, Deana Ward (Steve) and Cindy Knight (Christian); his grandchildren, Michael Ward (Rebecca), Morgan Lane (Eric), Maverick, Rylee and Jax Knight; his great grandchildren, Katilyn Ward and Cayden Lane; and his siblings, Valerie Wilburn (Larry), Jeanette Harris (Dennis), Roy Carter and David Carter (Karen). He was also cherished by wife and visited many family and friends.
