He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hettie and Jess; his wife Ruth; his children, Anita Horner, Teresa (Daniel Maupin), Pamela (Larry Bender) and Stephen (Jennifer Jones); his nieces, Marcia Bergstrom and Cheryl Bergstrom; his grandchildren, Kerena (Rolando Mendez), Shana (Ed Sammons), Marisa Maupin (Nicholas Blewett), Evan (Jennifer Bender), Brandon Maupin (Gabby D'Ottaviano) and Wesley (Holly Bender); and his great grandchildren, Jack Sammons, Daisy Sammons, Paige Mendez, Nolan Mendez, Sophia Bender and Tyler Bender. He was also cherished by his many cousins living nearby were like his siblings.
