She was predeceased by: her parents, Ima Clay and Curtis Clay; her siblings, Bill Clay, James Elliot and Iona Fetter; her son Jimmy Mitchell; and her former husband Alvin Mitchell.
She is survived by: her sister Roberta Clay-Ramey; and her children, Kenny Mitchell, Kitty Pritt and Tawnya Markle. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
