He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleveland Jefferson Ledbetter and Lilly Mae O'Leary Ledbetter; his wife Mary Imojean Ledbetter; his son Leonard Ray Ledbetter; his siblings, Pearl, Opal, Catherine, Bea, Mildred, Beatrice, James, Wesley, Barbara and Gerald; and his granddaughter Aurora German.
He is survived by: his children, Lillie Marie Ledbetter, Connie Emery (Robin) and James Ledbetter (Kathy); his grandchildren, Tamatha (Michael), Bobby (Emma) and Lillie (Charlie); and his great grandchildren, Blake Maultsby, Allen Maultsby, Barry Allen German, Alice Maultsby, Hanna Emery, Jack Emery, Killian Beard and Samuel Emery. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Lafayette Funeral Home (6651 Raeford Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28304).
