He was predeceased by: his parents, John Nichols (Estella Welch-Nichols) and Lord; his spouse Murdie Allen Nichols; and his siblings, John Nichols, Benjamin Nichols, Elpercy Nichols, Melchia, Arzell Nichols, Sterling Nichols and Theresa Joan Nichols Whihite.
He is survived by: his children, Reynard Nichols of Chicago and Sharon Nichols of Lakewood; his stepdaughter Karen McAfee (Jerome) of Bellflower; his grandchildren, KaShuanna McAfee of Bellflower, Trent Clopton of Germantown and Tevon McAfee of Bellflower, California.; and his sisters, Dorothy King of Dumas, Barbara Hood of Lonoke and Claude Winston of Nashville. He is also survived by Nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Serenity Gardens Funeral Services (136 St. Hwy 159 N, Dumas, AR 71639). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at the Union Cemetery.
