It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bertty Jean Morris of Lakeport, California, who passed away on February 28, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Archie Winters and Lottie Winters; her significant other John S. Morris; her children, Judy Payne (David) of Tyler, TX and Bill Morris (Allison) of Eureka; and her grandchildren, John Morris (Laura), Rebecca Morris, Nathan Payne (Katy), Jacob Payne (Tatiana) and Adam Payne (Katie). She was also cherished by great-grandchildren.
Because of her love for children, in lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Triumphant Life Camp, through First Covenant Church of Eureka.
