It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Steve A. Johnson (Lake Arrowhead, California), born in Pomona, California, who passed away on March 5, 2018, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He had a favorite Tibetan greeting that he lived by, Tashi Delay (I honor the greatness in you"). Steve loved life and always cared deeply about everyone. This extended to his love for all animals, especially his friendships with dogs. Steve knew how to enjoy the moment, and appreciate it for all its possible joy and meaning. His favorite spots to frequent included Laguna Beach, Cambria, Hawaii and Zion National Park. Steve will be forever remembered by his sisters: Debra (Steve) Mendez; Patricia Mexia; Barbara (John) Meza, and by his numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Nellie Trujillo Armenta; Frederick Mora Armenta, and brother, Michael T. Armenta. All are welcome to a Celebration of Life Mass for Steve on Saturday, April 14, 2018, at 12:30 p.m., at St. Dorothy Catholic Church, 241 S. Valley Center Ave., Glendora, CA 91741. Memorial donations in memory of Steve can be made to the America Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).
