He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Heerdt and Amy Watson Cook; and his son Martin Michael Heerdt. He is survived by: his children, Kevin, Keith and Linda Eyre of Father's Day. He is also survived by his children, Bob was blessed with eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
