He is survived by: his spouse Gregg Johnson; his son Ryan Watson; his grandchildren, Rihelle and Rhys; his siblings, Lori Dickenson (Ted), Ken Watson (Lori) and Ray Watson; and his nieces and nephews, Kelsey Sharp, Tyson Wagelie, Brent Watson, Kristine Counts, Bonie Butler, Kellie McCready, Michael Drake and Jeremy Drake. He is also survived by cousins; cherished friends; and Gregg's extended family.
When he retired in March 2020, further travel plans were abruptly thwarted by a worldwide pandemic.
