With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Sneh Bebarta Veena (Lafayette, California), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vijay Varma and Radhey Varma (Khare); her husband Prafulla Chandra Bebarta; and her siblings, Padmesh Varma and Shashi Khare (Hari).
She is survived by: her sons, Prakhyat Bebarta (Cami) and Vikhyat Bebarta (Corey); her grandchildren, Nolan, Ella, Julianna, Emma, Grace and Owen Bebarta; her siblings, Manjul Varma and Rajeeva Ratna Raju Varma (Kalpana); and her sister-in-law Shashi Varma. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and friends.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Oakmont Memorial Park Redwood Chapel (2099 Reliez Valley Rd, Lafayette, CA 94549). A reception was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oakmont Mortuary (2099 Reliez Valley Rd, Lafayette, CA 94549).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the "Bebarta-Veena Family Endowed Scholarship Fund" at Heritage University, where Dr. Veena served as Provost and Vice President and was honored as Professor Emeritus.
