He is survived by: his father Eiji Ayabe; his daughters, Tamilyn and Tessa; his wife Grace Horng (Horng); his siblings, Stephen (Sharlene) and Katherine Yuko (Stacy); his nieces, Kira and Chloe; his siblings-in-law, Cheng and Nancy (Horng); and his pet Aki.
