He is survived by: his significant other Mary; his sons, Don Jr. and Scott; and the parent of his children Cal. He is also survived by 2 granddaughters and 2 grandsons; and 4 great-grandchildren.
Despite some hurdles presented by the coronavirus pandemic, many of his family members were able to see and speak with him (albeit via video conference call) just before Christmas; his two sons were in town with him until he passed.
