It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deveney Bixler Totten (Lafayette, California), who passed away on April 20, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Deveney Bixler is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Bixler and Virginia Bixler. She is survived by: her husband Larry; her children, Vanessa Ryan (Glen), Jenny and Jeff (Susie); her grandsons, Connor and William Ryan; her sister Julie; and her caregiver Heidi.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a gift to Hospice of the East Bay (Bruns House) or the Alzheimer's Association.
