He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Sterchi, Sr. and Jesse Scherer Sterchi; his brother Elmer Sterchi (Ande) of Olney, IL.; his wife Ardith Sterchi; his mothers-in-law, Muriel and Marjorie Cutshall; his siblings, Lula Williamson, Mary, Robert Sterchi Jr., Dale Sterchi and Charles; and his sister-in-law Sandy Van Cleve.
He is survived by: his children, Greg Sterchi (Suzanne) of Plainfield, IL., Brad Sterchi (Tara) of Evansville, IN. and Sarah Klingler (Thomas) of Ladera Ranch, CA.; his grandchildren, Dr. Jason Sterchi (Caitlin) of Oswego, IL, Tara Ali (Karim) of Spicewood, TX, Bryan Sterchi (Tammy) of Columbia, TN and Aaron Sterchi (Meaghan) of Plainfield, IL.; and his great grandchildren, Chase, Campbell Sterchi, Emma, Tyler, Mason Ali, Colin, Brady Pounders, Tucker, Katie Sue Sterchi and Marley Sterchi.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Claws and Paws Resale and Animal Rescue Center, 218 South West Street, Olney, IL.
