He was predeceased by: his parents, Emanuel Cleotis and Hildegard Anna Layman (Huefner); his former wife Alice Shirley (Scott); his siblings, Doris Lucille Layman, Velma Powers (Louis Mary Kerber) and John H. Layman; and his son Gregory O. Layman.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Kathleen Layman (Lesley); his children, Michael (Leslie) of Cle Elum, Washington, Diane (Tim) of Camas, Washington and Jeffrey (Fumiyo) of Washington, D. C.; his grandchildren, Chelsea, Nicholas, Kevin, Chloe, Luke, Louis, Zachery and Yuki; and his great grandchildren, Cayden and Georgia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery and Mortuary (2161 Fullerton Rd, Rowland Heights, CA 91748). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location.
