He is survived by: his wife Yolanda Cherry; his daughters, Colleen (Justin), Cynthia, Caroline and Cindy (Jason); his grandchildren, Joseph, Matthew, Michael, Cheyenne, Tylor, Ramon, Ryan, Jolene and Eva; his nephew Bobby (Corey); and his niece Brandy (Jeff).
As a longtime member of The Rotary Foundation, Tom was presented with a Paul Harris Fellow recognition for his work as a humanitarian "for their devotion to the ideal of good will, peace and understanding.".
