Melba Mae Abrams Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 25, 2023, at the age of 86, Melba Mae Abrams (La Mirada, California) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Theodore McDowell. She is survived by: her mother Muriel McDowell; her children, Cynthia, Elizabeth (Elvis), Robin Marie, Ruth Ann, Joseph Dean and Marvin Donald; her siblings-in-law, Rick, Jeff, Nicole and Robyn; her grandchildren, Marenda (Mario), Michael (Kyle), Meredith (Adam), Samiah, Justin, Joey, Jordan, Kurrinn (Mikey) and Kayla (Juan Carlos); her great grandchildren, Jacob, Jude, Juliet and Isabelle; her pets, Kaiju, Priscilla, Presley, Maggie, Cash, Harvey, Sturgill, Sammy, Delilah and Maisie; and her siblings, Wally, Marg, Paul, Jim, Jean (Brent), Grace (Rob) and Ted (Deb). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, Melba requested that donations be made to the Cynthia Abrams Scholarship Fund. Donations can be sent to the United Methodist Church, General Board of Church and Society, 100 Maryland Street NE, Suite 310, Washington, DC 20002 (with "Cynthia Abrams Scholarship" in the memo line).
