He was a very loving and giving man. He had a heart of gold always trying to help anyone he could. He was extremely family oriented, he was always smiling and very funny and always compassionate with everyone he came in contact with. He devoted his life to helping take care of his mom during and after her battle with stage 4 Uterine Cancer. Unfortunately years after her remission she was diagnosed with dementia and Alzheimer's. Rene, his sister Ana and with the help of his brother in law as well with the help of his Niece Kristina and his Nephew in-law Arian, they have made sure "Mom" is well taken care of at home 24/7. Rene was there taking care of Mom till the very end. He always made sure to put her needs and well-being ahead of his. He was a very loving and loyal son, brother, uncle and friend. He is and always will be missed and in our hearts. He was the light of our family. This has impacted all of us greatly but especially Mom. She is taking it extremely hard as you can all imagine. She feels extremely sad and brokenhearted as she tries to understand and navigate with the loss of 3 of her 5 children within a 3 1/2 yrs span. All this grief and sorrow she's going through has unfortunately but understandable expedited her Alzheimer's progression. So the family is asking for privacy at this time and also asking to please keep his Mom in your thoughts and prayers. As the family is grieving, they're also focusing on trying to keep "Mom" as tranquil and healthy as possible, Thank you as this is all Rene wished and wanted for Mom and the family.
Nene may you rest in peace and I have some comfort knowing you're pain free and reunited with our grandparents, Dad, Tios and our brothers. I know you're watching over all of us now and you have earned your wings Brother. Fly high and free my NENE!!
