She is survived by: her husband Jerome; her children, Michael, Steven and Rachel; and her grandson Leo.

A memorial will be announced in the coming weeks.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Atheneum of La Jolla, The California League of Women's Voters or the ACLU.
