He is survived by: his wife Maria Martinez-Soliz; his children, Liliana Elsa (Andrew), Melissa, Ruben and Marcos; his grandchildren, Joaquin, Violet, Leticia, Ruben Jr. and Andrew; and his siblings, Gilbert, Sandra, Silvia, Mary and Connie.
