He was predeceased by: his parents, Guillermo "Willie" Salcido and Lucy Salcido. He is survived by: his wife Kristin; his children, Jordan, Julianne and Joseph; his grandchildren, Cruz and Nova; his brothers, George (Cindy), Tom (Sharise) and Tim (Chrissy); his parents-in-law, Dianne and Bob (Terry); and his brother-in-law Steve (Ava). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mission San Antonio De Padua or a favorite charity in Higinio's memory.
