He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Vickers; and his son Maurice Charles Vickers, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Cynthia Vickers Miller; and his stepsons, Jay McGuire (Gail), Douglas McGuire (Laurel) and James McGuire. He is also survived by four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
