He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Ione (Pinckard) and Lee McFarland; his wife Olwen; his granddaughter Kellie Finch; and his sisters, Ione Larson, Grace Littrell and Dolli Nordyke.
He is survived by: his children, Sue Finch (Randy) of Folsom, CA, Ken McFarland (Barbara) of Walnut Creek, CA and Lee, Jr. McFarland (Edith); his brother Daniel McFarland of Edmonds, WA; his grandchildren, Tim Finch (Kim), Cody McFarland, Lindsey Jasper, Elise McFarland, Kristen McFarland and Daniel McFarland; and his great grandchildren, Holly, Derek Jasper, Matthew, Megan and Michael Finch.
